This program will convert Info-Mac digests (in TEXT or Claris Em@iler format) into HTML format documents that can be read from a web browser like Netscape Navigator‚Ñ¢ 2. Using the frames feature Info-Mac To HTML also indexes your digest files giving you a choice of a two or three paned window.
This program has two modes, the first is the Batch Process (Drag&Drop) Mode and the second is the Interactive Mode.
Batch Process (Drag&Drop) Mode
In this mode you simply select documents and folders in the finder and drag them over to the Info-Mac To HTML icon and release them. The documents will be processed with the default parameters set in the preferences for the program after which the program will automatically terminate.
Interactive Mode
This mode will operate like a normal MacOS® application in that you will be provided with a menu and you will have to quit the application yourself. In this mode you will be able to set the preferences for the program and convert individual files. (You will also be able to process documents in batch mode by switching to the finder, selecting the documents that you want to process and dragging them over the Info-Mac To HTML icon.)
Default Destination Folder
If you started the program by Drag&Drop, the program will automatically process the files you had selected in the finder and leave the output HTML files in the same directory as the source files.
You may specify a destination folder by starting the program in Interactive Mode and selecting preferences in the file menu.
Post Process Folder
If a post-process folder is specified, the original Info-Mac digest will be moved to the folder after a successful conversion.
You may specify a post-process folder by starting the program in Interactive Mode and selecting preferences in the file menu.
Graphics Folder
The HTML files produced by the program have references to graphics files in them. These files are used for icons and backgrounds in the processed file.

If no folder has been specified in the preferences, your web browser will assume that the files are in the same directory as your HTML file. If these files are not present in the specified folder, they will not be displayed when the document is viewed in your web browser.
You may specify a graphics folder by starting the program in Interactive Mode and selecting preferences in the file menu. (This will not copy the graphics into the folder, you will have to do that yourself.)
